Who are we?
Hello, we are Sonay Dervisoglu and Yasin Üstüner, and together we manage the cosmetic studio The Face Atelier in Berlin.
We are specialized estheticians out of passion and, with our atelier, we have created a place that is much more than just a cosmetic studio to us. After a long search, we found the space in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf where we feel completely at home ourselves and we want to pass that exact feeling on to our clients.
From the very beginning, it was important to us to create a place where you can arrive, switch off, and feel at ease. A familiar and harmonious space that conveys a bit of that ‘at-home’ feeling. a safe space where you can unfold freely and be completely yourself.
Our passion for cosmetics connects us, but each of us brings their own personality and individual strengths to the table.
Esthetician Sonay
Sonay has a distinct vision in the field of beauty and aesthetics. For her, beauty doesn’t just mean changing the exterior, but bringing out the most beautiful version of a person.
Her exceptional attention to detail, her strong sense of aesthetics, and her high standards of quality give each of her works a very unique signature. She knows exactly how a small nuance, the right product, or a fine detail can transform the entire appearance.
Through her exceptional ability to attentively perceive people and their individual needs, she strives to create a personal and special experience for everyone.
Medical esthetician Yasin
Yasin grew up with the world of cosmetics from an early age, as his mother was an esthetician herself. Because of this, beauty, care, and a sensitive approach to people became a natural part of his life early on. What initially shaped him through his family environment developed over time into his own passion and eventually his calling.
Yasin combines aesthetics with precision, structure, and a strong sense of quality. He places great importance on ensuring that not only the result, but the entire process meets the highest standards. For him, order, hygiene, and careful attention to every detail are naturally part of professional work.
At the same time, it is important to him to perceive people individually and give them a sense of trust and well-being. For Yasin, professional cosmetics therefore mean not just external care, but the combination of precision, quality, and a personal feel for the individual.
